Making weight loss for families fun with KKH.
We collaborated with National University of Singapore (NUS) and KK Women's and Children's Hospital (KKH) to design a weight-tracking mobile application.
There are plenty of weight-tracking apps available but how many of them are child-friendly? LiteUp stands out as a fun and engaging way to get the whole family involved in monitoring their health and wellbeing through gamification.
We adopted the use of playful and child-friendly colours. The colours add to more than just aesthetic value; each colour is tied to a specific metric of the app. For instance, blue signifies nutrition while red represents physical activity. Additionally, characters, or mascots, were used to add personality to each of the metrics. These mascots were specifically designed to be relevant to their respective metrics.
